Privacy Policy

CarePath ("we", "us") operates carepathplan.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
- Information you give us voluntarily. If you submit a form — to receive your plan by email, join a state waitlist, or contact us — we collect your email address, anything you write, and, for plan emails, the state, care type, and estimate you selected.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and operations, per their own privacy practices.
The calculator and assessment run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not stored or sent anywhere unless you choose to submit a form. We do not require accounts and we do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
How we use your information
- To send you what you asked for (your plan summary, a state-launch notification, a reply to your message).
- To send occasional caregiving resources by email, from which you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to us.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact details with care providers, facilities, or advertisers without your explicit consent.
Who processes your data
Form submissions are stored by Netlify (our hosting and form provider). Page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may log requests per Google's privacy policy. If we add an email delivery service, it will process email addresses solely to deliver our messages.
Retention and your rights
We keep form submissions only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@carepathplan.com — we honor such requests regardless of where you live, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU/UK GDPR where applicable.
Children
CarePath is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change on the site.
